We participate in continuing education programs on the latest developments to serve you better. We feel that this training is vital in a health services field that is undergoing change with new discoveries and techniques.

Teri, Business Coordinator

Teri joined us in 2000 and has enjoyed a 20 year dental career. Teri’s background in dental assisting is key in understanding clinical procedures and insurance coding to maximize patient benefits. She can be heard on the phone answering dental questions and helping patients schedule appropriate care daily.  Teri enjoys travel, family and friends.

Cicely, Business Coordinator

Cicely joined our practice in 2013 and comes with an 11 year background in dental practice administration. Cicely is well versed in providing treatment planning and insurance support; making necessary and cosmetic care possible in a timely manner. Cicely is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management at the University of Phoenix. Cicely and her family are big Washington Redskins fans. In her spare time she enjoys reading, cooking and travel.

Tresa, Registered Dental Hygienist

Since 1997, Tresa has played an instrumental role in our preventive care program.  A 1994  graduate of Baltimore City Community College dental hygiene school, Tresa’s gentle touch and skill has kept countless patients healthy and free from unnecessary problems. Patients ask for her by name. Tresa enjoys her family and golden retriever in her free time.

Betsy, Registered Dental Hygienist

Betsy has been a dental hygienist for 34 years after graduating from Allegheny College. She has been part of our team since 2005. Betsy shows a real concern for patient dental health and has a real tact of promoting oral hygiene habits that patients love.  She too has a following of patients that ask for her by name.  Betsy enjoys the beach and designing stained glass.

Penny, Dental Assistant

Penny has touched the lives of thousands of patients in her 36 year career as a dental assistant. Penny has been at Callahan Dental for 20 years and oversees the clinical functions of the office. Her needlepoint can be seen hanging from the walls of our office and is priceless.

Sonia, Dental Assistant

Sonia joined our practice in 2007 and has enjoyed a career in the dental profession since 1997. Fluent in Spanish, Sonia has allowed us to expand our services to meet the needs of the Hispanic community in the area. Sonia exudes warmth and a sincere charm. Her hobbies include jogging.
